Building a home based on warm rationalism.

A former archive (1915) was transformed into a sophisticated apartment on a chic pedestrian street in Barcelona.

The vision intended to generate a sophisticated and contemporary space but remaining at the same time warm and, somehow, cozy. Rationalism was the basis. A leitmotif was chosen to unite all rooms: a 6-layer grey lacquered ceiling-to-floor strip. Versailles wood flooring brought a distinctive but warm touch. Three double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and a big open area were required in a total surface of 116 sqm.
